Square glasses and Sweater Fukuzawa are making me crave a professor AU. Give me Fukzuawa in autumn drinking warm coffee in a sweater outside around the changing leaves on one of those old campuses with lots of gray stone buildings. Have him in an office at a heavy cherry-oak desk, the wall behind him a bay window and the other walls lined with books. Make the rug old and so thick it muffles all the sound in the room. #maybe Ranpo is his doctoral student#or or#maybe he's another professor in the same field and Fukuzawa is a fan#or an opposite field#I'm suddenly VERY excited about them both being professors#in autum#the bay window is important#imagine them both in that big cozy office with the leaves outside all aflame with color#Ranpo perched on Fukuzawa's desk#just vibing#even though he has a perfectly good desk of his own in another building.
